Technique Shards Guide
Technique shards are one of the clearest public progression systems in Cursed Gear, which is why they make a much better guide topic than fake hidden stat tables.
The Basic Loop
1. Technique shards are described publicly as cache drops during expeditions.
2. Three matching shards can be exchanged into a technique crystal.
3. That crystal can then be consumed to obtain the corresponding cursed technique.
What Good Shard Pacing Looks Like
Shards reward patience. You do not need a rare name immediately if the rest of your fundamentals are weak.
Crystal progression makes more sense when you already know which Gear rhythm you want to support.
Memory Drives are also publicly mentioned as a way to add extra technique points, which is another reason to think long-term instead of chasing hype.
