Editorial Policy

Who We Are

Cursed Gear Wiki is an independent fan resource for the Roblox game Cursed Gear. We are not affiliated with the game's developer. Our team consists of players who follow the game's development, participate in community discussion, and publish guides based on public information.

What We Base Our Content On

We write guides, tier lists, and blog posts based on:

  • Repeated gameplay observation across public Roblox sessions
  • Community discussion from Discord, YouTube, Reddit, and other public forums
  • Our own editorial review of what multiple sources agree on
  • Published patch notes and official Roblox game pages

How We Handle Unverified Claims

Cursed Gear is an actively developed Roblox game. Many details — exact damage values, cooldown timings, hidden mechanics, clan bonus percentages — are not fully documented in public sources. We do the following:

  • We avoid publishing exact numerical claims (e.g. specific damage numbers, precise percentage bonuses) unless we can corroborate them with at least two independent public sources.
  • When we describe a community practice, gameplay pattern, or build advice, we use qualifying language: "community reports describe," "players frequently mention," "based on observation."
  • If a claim is a community guideline but not officially confirmed, we say so directly in the article.
  • We do not invent game data. If we do not know something, we say we do not know it.

How We Keep Content Fresh

When the game updates, we review affected pages and update them as community consensus shifts. If you notice something out of date, use the contact page to let us know. Tier list pages include a version note indicating which game version they were written against.

Third-Party Links

We link to official Roblox game pages, community Discord servers, and YouTube channels. We do not link to sites that exist primarily to redirect traffic or that contain inaccurate game information.
